The Built Environment in 2030
Date: 8 October 2015 - 8 October 2015, 5:00 - 6:30
Location: Central Library, St Peter's Square, Manchester, M2 5PD
Presented by WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff
Free | Thursday 8 October | 5pm for a 5:30pm start
Ten years ago, buying an airline ticket online wasn’t possible. Mobile phones were bricks. Thinking forward is hard, yet we know the future will be different from today.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is pleased to invite you to the Manchester launch of a clear, incisive guide on how we see this future world and the impact this will have on the built environment. Covering the key trends that will shape the built environment in 2030, come and hear what we’re anticipating. Most importantly, come and join the debate on how the buildings and infrastructure we live and work in need to be designed to be fit for 2030.
We’ll have some punchy presentations from thought leaders in the North West, engaging discussions and, of course, great networking. Refreshments will be served from 5pm, the event will start promptly at 5:30pm and will conclude for 6:30pm with a drinks reception.
