Auctioneer, Smith and Sons’ Autumn auction will be held at 2pm on the 23rd September at the Village Hotel in Brombrough, Wirral.

The sale has attracted a wide variety of entries with 24 properties, some being offered at substantial discounts to their last advertised price.

Many of the lots will appeal to investors, developers and owner occupiers, either as a first time purchase or as family homes, with several of the properties ready for immediate occupation whilst others require a programme of renovation.

Chris Johnson, Auctioneer at Smith and Sons said: “There are some great lots at the September auction with properties spanning the whole of Wirral. Whilst several properties are ready for immediate occupation, others offer scope to make significant improvements.”

Interesting lots include a double fronted detached cottage situated off The Parade in Parkgate and a deceptively large sandstone cottage in the centre of Oxton Village with its own parking, at a guide of £140-160,000.

An imposing detached period property in Rock Lane East offers huge potential either to continue as a family home or conversion to apartments, offered at £295 -330,000. Two large semi-detached properties in Devonshire Park both offer refurbishment potential either as a single dwelling or in flats.

Another high yielding commercial investment is in Grange Road West, Birkenhead which offers versatile accommodation suitable for a variety of users. There are also several residential investment opportunities in Birkenhead and Wallasey which will produce 10-% returns for a modest outlay.
