Sir Howard Bernstein to speak on vision for the North West

Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council, will be the guest speaker at a dinner hosted by international law firm Hammonds. An audience of the region’s most high profile property and construction businessmen and women are expected to attend the event, at which Sir Howard will speak of his vision for the North West and its economy. One of the region’s most eminent figures, Sir Howard has been heavily involved in the regeneration of Manchester, including the construction of the City of Manchester Stadium and Sport City Complex. He was also instrumental in securing the city as Host City for the Commonwealth Games in 2002 – credentials which are bound to make the event an interesting evening.
