With towns and cities across the UK predicting continued growth in housing and jobs, the importance, and prevalence of planning for healthy places will dominate the agenda for planners. This session will consider the role planners have in delivering successful, healthy places; with the speakers covering a range of topics including walkable places, designing for the bike, designing for urban childhoods and ageing populations, inclusive planning and understanding of the role in facilitating design for people with disabilities.

This event could count as appropriate CPD for RTPI members – remember to keep a record of your learning, including your learning outcomes, in your CPD record
