Planning Enforcement is an integral part of the planning service ensuring that unauthorised development is dealt with in accordance with National & Local Policies as well as ensuring that the decisions of a Local Planning Authority are implemented in accordance with approved plans and conditions.
Officers dealing with enforcement are at the front line of planning dealing daily with members of the public as well as elected members, as well as extensive planning knowledge they also have to be effective negotiators.
This event will provide case law updates and practical examples to enable you to maintain and improve your skills.
