There are often significant and complex challenges in delivering at scale.  Creating sustainable places and meeting the shortfall in new homes through strategic sites requires a masterplanning -led approach with a robust evidence base, strong inter-disciplinary and collaborative working. This event will review the latest Government policy on strategic sites and share best practice and learning on effective planning processes from strategic site identification, policy allocation and formulation to development management. Key topics will include masterplanning and design, infrastructure, viability and delivery (including the role of CIL and s106) and how to ensure these planning processes secure high quality, sustainable places and effective delivery.

This event could count as appropriate CPD for RTPI members – remember to keep a record of your learning, including your learning outcomes, in your CPD record
