As Local Plans are being progressed further, the Sustainability Appraisal / Strategic Environmental Assessment of these is becoming ever more important. This session will focus on how to approach SA / SEA and also how to incorporate an Equalities Impact Assessment and Health Impact Assessment within the process.
Taking the appraisal even further, the importance of social value and how this can be included will be explored along with the importance of an ‘SA’ for wider plan making and how to embed within the site selection process.
