The aim of this two-day workshop is to support you as an effective and confident Manager / Team Leader within your organisation. You will develop a plan of how you will lead your team effectively in various environments and situations. This programme will offer you the opportunity to consider how you will develop your leadership style and people management techniques to effectively deal with the day to day challenges of improving performance and getting results.
By the end of this programme you will be able to:
- Clarify the role and expectations of a Manager
- Identify your preferred style of Management
- Understand different aspects of motivation and be able to apply appropriate tactics to motivate others
- Use basic coaching skills to continuously challenge and support others
- Build employee motivation, confidence, and competence through performance feedback
- Instil the sense of shared responsibility and support necessary to accomplish work-unit goals
- Uncover, interpret, and analyse 'what makes people tick' through understanding personality types
- Develop a plan for improving your personal managerial effectiveness back on the job
- Improve self-awareness and knowledge of the business through networking with other participants
- Share the results of your development with other participants, colleagues and your Line Manager

Cost
- RTPI members – £250.00 +VAT (£300.00)
- Non-RTPI members – £300.00 +VAT (£360.00)
