The Green Deal is the coalition Governmen's flagship initiative designed to stimulate the market for growth in energy improvements and thermal upgrades within the domestic and commercial sectors. The scheme has been set up to provide financial assistance to those building owners who intend to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings without any upfront costs. The savings returned on the reduced levels of fuel consumption are used to pay back the Green Deal charge over a period of 25 years.
This seminar will explore some of the challenges facing the Green Deal and the potential complications that may arise. It will focus on the opportunities created for surveyors, energy advisors and associated property professionals and the commercial benefits it could bring.
