RIBA North West is pleased to announce that Joe Morris of Duggan Morris is coming to the region to take part in the Pushing Boundaries lecture series. The event takes place on Wednesday 13 February at the Art & Design Academy, Liverpool John Moores University.

Celebrating innovation and creativity in the fields of architecture and design, the Pushing Boundaries series aims to bring to the North West individuals who are helping to shape the future of architecture and the world around us.

Some of the projects Duggan Morris Architects has worked on include:

  • Kings Grove, London – winner of the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize 2012
  • 3A Hampstead Lane, London – winner of the RIBA Manser Medal 2011
  • Old Bearhurst, East Sussex – winner of a RIBA South East Downland Award 2012

Andrew Ruffler, regional director for RIBA North West, said: "We are delighted to bring Joe to the North West and provide a chance for people to hear from one of the most exciting young practices in the country today. We look forward to hearing Joe speak and learning more about both his and the practice's philosophy and their approach to the design process."

RIBA North West would like to thank Links Project Management, Liverpool John Moores University and the Liverpool Architectural Society for their support of this event.

Tickets for the event are available by calling the RIBA North West office on 0151 703 0107. Tickets are £7 / £5 RIBA members/students.
