RIBA CPD Northern Network: Bid Coaching – "Quality Based Procurement"

Date: 19 May 2010, 1:00 - 12:00

Location: Knutsford Civic Centre, Toft Road. Knutsford. WA16 0PE

The credit crunch means that to survive, businesses must work smarter – and that includes becoming a finely-tuned, effective bidding machine. The challenges: property values are falling and private sector clients are disappearing altogether; if you are going after public sector money, clients are subject to stringent requirements to demonstrate efficiency savings, continuous improvement, value for money and a quality product. And that means they are looking for the same from you.
This workshop will help you:

  • Understand the client, the procurement process and drivers;
  • Understand the PQQ scoring process;
  • Improve resource efficiency;
  • Organise your resources, content and timetable of events.
