As well as looking good and being well constructed, a project team should ensure the built asset does what the client and end-users want.
The Procuring for Value report, commissioned by the Construction Leadership Council as part of the sector deal to modernise construction, comes when change is in the air and begins a dialogue with the supply chain – up and down – to make the procurement process more relevant to what clients and end-users want to achieve, creating a whole-life, integrated industry to improve productivity while giving wider societal benefits.
Our extended seminar brings together the lead author of the report, Ann Bentley, global board director Rider Levett Bucknall, to discuss the report and its ambitions with representatives across the supply chain including: Clare Huber, NWCH board member and client lead for Chester’s award-winning Storyhouse library and theatre; John Finlay of Value in Construction and former MCC Capital procurement manager and Katy Harris, director of preconstruction, Seddon Construction Ltd.
Fee: £15 (free to Members of Constructing Excellence Manchester)
