Register now for the first in a European series of quarterly breakfast briefings to take the pulse of the proptech market, being held in MSP’s Bright Building on Friday 27 April.

The quarterly series will move on to Amsterdam, London and Stockholm in the follow-on events over the course of the next 12 months.

Each event will be accompanied by a special supplement mapping the trends and innovators transforming the sector, distributed to ticket-holders exclusively at the event before being published on placetech.net, the new website by Place Group to bring property and tech communities together.

PlaceTech Trend Talks are delivered in partnership with Bruntwood and Manchester Science Partnerships, OBI Property, Mills & Reeve and Redwood Consulting.

Speakers include:

Neil Singer, founder of Clicktopurchase the platform on which the first commercial and residential assets to be transacted through blockchain. Singer will update on his plans and give his take on the state of proptech adoption today.

Tom Renn, managing director of Manchester Science Partnerships, will introduce attendees to the Bright Building, completed last year and home to Cisco’s Mi-IDEA accelerator and the CityVerve internet of things collaboration among other tenants. Renn will also offer an overview of how MSP is installing tech in its buildings and discuss the challenges and opportunities open to developers can expect along their digital property journeys.

Nicola Woods, workplace consultant at OBI Property, which advises many ecommerce companies from Hut Group and AO.com to Rentalcars, will provide a selection of the latest design features tech occupiers are demanding for their offices.

There will be pitch demonstrations from growing tech companies including shopper location analyst Place Dashboard and environmental monitoring system Hark and virtual tour technology Giraffe360.

The event is due to begin at 8am with refreshments and networking and finish around 10.30am. PlaceTech Trend Talks Manchester will be chaired by Paul Unger, publisher of PlaceTech and Place North West, who will provide an introduction to placetech.net and share findings from the Q1 2018 PlaceTech Trend Talks report.
