Aaron & PartnersPlace North West is hosting a day of seminars as part of the Celebrate Cheshire business expo in Chester Racecourse on 16 September.

The morning will feature presentations and a panel discussion on regeneration hotspots with particular focus on Crewe, Chester, Warrington and the rural economy. Speakers will include Matt Crompton, joint managing director of Muse Developments. Muse was recently appointed by Warrington council to transform a large part of the town centre. There will also be an update on the One City Plan by Rita Waters, chief executive of Chester Renaissance.

The afternoon will focus on key sectors with potential for growth in Cheshire and Warrington; manufacturing and logistics; environmental technologies; leisure and retail; and professional and financial services. Place's seminars will be hosted in association with Chester-based law firm Aaron & Partners.

The wider expo will feature a showcase exhibition hall with stands hosted by major employers in and around the region such as Bentley Motors and Manchester Airport. There will be further seminars delivered by organisations such as the National Apprenticeships Service and the Manufacturing Institute.

Celebrate Cheshire is organised by Marketing Cheshire and takes place on 16 and 17 September. Friday 16 is aimed at business leaders and investors whereas Saturday 17 is aimed at consumers and job-seekers.
