NWDA Regional Intelligence Unit consultation session: People & Communities + Planning, Housing and Infrastructure + Environment

The Regional Intelligence Unit is holding a series of consultation sessions in September on the Evidence Papers, prepared as one of the contributions to the Regional Strategy Evidence Base. Each Evidence Paper takes a factor from the region’s Regional Economic Strategy 2006 and updates the relevant data sets. Sessions will be run on a number of themes as indicated below: Business + Skills & Employment Friday 5 Sep 10am – 1pm Warrington Business + Planning, Housing & Infrastructure + Environment Friday 19 Sep 10am – 1pm Kendal Business + People & Communities + Skills & Employment Thurs 11 Sep 10am-1pm Globe Centre, Accrington, Lancashire Skills & Employment + People & Communities(jointly hosted with Voluntary Sector Northwest and One Northwest) Monday 8 Sep 12.30pm – 4pm Ardwick, North Manchester Skills & Employment + Planning, Housing & Infrastructure Monday 15 Sep 10am-1pm Liverpool People & Communities + Planning, Housing and Infrastructure + Environment Friday 12 Sept 10am-1pm Wigan To confirm your attendance please register online at www.nwda.co.uk/RIUconsultation Delegates may attend as many sessions as required. To tie in with the dates of the consultation sessions the RIU will be extending the closing date of the consultation to Monday 22 September 2008.
