Manchester's property folk are to get their own version of a Mipim Thursday party on home soil with an informal gathering at the Mark Addy next week on 8 March.
Early sponsors of the get-together for property professionals – and anyone with money to put behind the bar – are developers Capital & Centric and recruitment consultancy the MRJ Group, who have pledged money towards drinks on arrival.
The event coincides with the last night of the annual property convention in Cannes, when Manchester delegates have enjoyed the Hang the DJ party organised by Ear to the Ground for the past few years.
Not Mipim Mcr will begin at 6pm on Thursday 8 March. Event organiser Justine McGuinn of Just PR & Marketing requests that people planning on attending please tweet @JustPRM or email Justine@justprm.co.uk to help keep an eye on numbers.

An established 'not Mipim' knees-up takes place on Friday of Mipim week in Liverpool, the popular Cannes Do lunch which has again sold out in advance. The lunch will take place on Friday 9 March at 12 Princes Parade in Princes Dock attended by 450 people, with an after-dinner comedian.
