10.30am to 2.50pm Housing providers understand the communities within which they work and can greatly contribute to and influence localism. Our seminar will consider some of the key elements of the Localism Act which are now emerging, including:

  • engaging with social enterprise
  • the potential role and constitution of the neighbourhood forums/local parish councils
  • how providers may be involved in future planning decisions
  • the impact of planning reform upon development
