Liverpool Law Society Commercial Property Conference 2013

Date: 6 March 2013, 9:00 - 12:00

Location: Liverpool Law Society, 2nd Floor, The Cotton Exchange, Bixteth Street, Liv

Anyone involved in the North West commercial property sector should consider attending the Liverpool Law Society Commercial Property Conference 2013, which is being held in Liverpool city centre on Wednesday 6 March 2013.

Although organised by the local Law Society, this is not a conference run by lawyers for lawyers. In fact, over half of the speakers are from other disciplines, including some local legends in the property sector.

This full-day conference, chaired by Bill Chandler of Hill Dickinson, will include presentations from:

Stuart Keppie, partner at surveyor Keppie Massie, opening the conference with his state-of-the-market address

Charles Hubbard, consultant at Matthews & Goodman, exploring compulsory purchase strategies and compensation

The Grant Thornton tax hour, bringing you up-to-date on VAT, SDLT and capital allowances
Paul Denholm, head of planning risk, First Title, outlining significant changes to planning enforcement powers and town and village greens

Leading law firms Hill Dickinson, Brabners and DLA will cover a variety of topical issues from landlord & tenant to competition law, via planning and sustainability.

The full programme, prices and booking details can be found on the Liverpool Law Society website:
