Commencing at 11.00am, the seminar comprises three workshop sessions specifically tailored for the construction sector followed by a construction sector only networking lunch.

11.15am

Workshop One – Edward Davies, Hill Dickinson

1 million ships, 5 billion dollars

Hill Dickinson's Edward Davies has spent the last six months working in Panama on the canal expansion programme and will give a short presentation about this important and challenging project.

11.30am Workshop Two – Mark McManus The Green Power Forum

As construction work begins on the North West's first Green Energy Training Centre, Mark will tell us about the skills gap in renewables and the benefits of training locally.

11.45am Workshop Three – Jim Williams from The Tender Management Consultancy will tell us how to gain the edge with a construction tender in the public sector.

After lunch Steve Nicholson Director of the Mersey Gateway will talk to us about the Mersey Gateway Project to build a new toll bridge over the Mersey between the towns of Runcorn and Widnes.
