This event offers an unparalleled opportunity for businesses to learn about the very real business opportunities resulting from the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Speakers in the morning session will include the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell MP, Minister for the Olympics, Sebastian Coe Chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), John Armitt Chairman of Olympic Delivery Authority and Morag Stuart Head of Procurement for the ODA, and Richard Mould, Head of Procurement for LOCOG. The afternoon session, which will focus specifically on the construction supply chain, will detail the 2012 Construction Commitments, designed to raise standards in the construction industry, and by which all organisations in the 2012 supply chain, and soon all public sector construction projects, must adhere to.
