Inspiring Integration: The key role of green infrastructure in the development process

This free seminar will explore the role green infrastructure plays in creating sustainable and economically viable urban areas.

A range of industry speakers will make the case for why and how green infrastructure needs to be an integral component of new build to create places that people want to live, work and invest in.

The event is headed up by Matt Wells who will give an overview of his experiences as London Tree Officer and his involvement in New York City’s successful MillionTreesNYC campaign.

Councillor Alex Ganotis, the leader of Stockport Council and appointed Green City Lead for Greater Manchester, will outline the GM Mayor’s vision for a greener, sustainable Greater Manchester.

The session will end on a question and answer session.
