Hole in One Golf Competition at Westshield’s Golf Day

Oldham-based Westshield will host its Annual Golf Day at Denton Golf Club on 9 September.

Established in 1977, Westshield is well renowned for providing building & civil engineering solutions to public, private sector clients and to Local Authorities across the North West and Cumbria. Recently the company was awarded its 8th consecutive RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award, one of the most respected awards in the industry.

Fifty amateur golfers from a variety of construction and property businesses will take to the course in an effort to shoot a hole in one.

The 135 yard 13th hole has been selected; anyone skilful enough to shoot a hole in one will be rewarded with a fantastic prize of a Spring Soft Tail Harley Davidson valued at £20,000. The insurance has been sponsored by Dave Wilson's newly launched company – Verte Limited – sustainable environmental services specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of air conditioning, photovoltaic's, heat pump technology and wind power. The Harley will be on show at Denton throughout the day courtesy of Harley Davidson Manchester.

A further 30 guests will join the golfers for dinner in Denton's Club House where the event will be hosted by Lombard's Karl Kirkpatrick also a Rugby Union and Rugby league Referee. Local comedian Venn Tracey will provide the entertainment.
