Hill Dickinson: BIM – The truth for employers & contractors

Date: 23 April 2015, 9:00 - 12:00

Location: Hill Dickinson, Liverpool

We are delighted to be hosting our latest seminar, run in conjunction with DSG Quantity Surveyors, designed to dispel fears and bridge the knowledge gap surrounding BIM.

BIM means different things to different people and for this reason each set of seminars have been tailored to cater to two very different audiences in order to ensure that all gain the most appropriate and relevant information. Please see the selection of dates and venues listed below.

In 2011, the Government announced that it will be introducing a mandatory BIM requirement on all of its contracts from 2016. So, the general consensus across the industry is to invest in BIM or risk being left behind.

BIM doesn't need to be complicated or bewildering, but in an industry getting to grips with new technology, it is inevitable that mistakes would be made along the way. Whether you are a client, a contractor or consultant, the most important thing to remember is to be responsive – to your own needs and those of the parties you plan to work with. At the seminar, we will present you with real case study examples and provide you with insider knowledge, practical experience and the lessons learnt.
