Using significant and contemporary knowledge the CCS offer a potent and dynamic Seminar that is a must attend event for all seeking to improve ways of getting paid.

Speakers:

Colin Hale

A highly accomplished chartered quantity surveyor specialising in the resolution of construction disputes by negotiation, adjudication and mediation. Fully conversant in
JCT, NEC and FIDIC contract forms, their sub-contracts and most of the hybrid subcontract forms produced by main contractors.

Starting out in the construction industry as an articled pupil with John Laing Construction, he held various appointments with contractors before forming his own consultancy and has worked as a consultant for the last 25 years both in the UK and the UAE.

Colin's main area of work is now in the specialist contracting field, offering commercial and contractual advice and training. Colin works closely with the Confederation of Construction Specialists.

Christopher Selby

Since joining the CCS in early 2013, and with a strong track record in organisational transformation, Christopher has embarked on a course of enhancement to the CCS. Introducing a still widening range of highly beneficial services and reinvigorating the organisations reputation as the 'go to' company for supporting its growing Construction Specialist membership.

Whilst maintaining traditional offers such as Contractual Training and Legal Advice Christopher is now introducing other services including BIM training, C02 and Energy Management and support services for grant funding and apprenticeship programmes.

Christopher works hard to support the development of understanding of BIM in the Construction Specialist sector, and has recently been appointed as the Chairman of Directors for the BIM4SME Group.
