If you are a consultant or contractor within or looking to supply into the renewable energy market, or interested in installing a small wind turbine, this workshop will provide you with the ESSENTIAL knowledge you'll need before considering the connection of your renewable energy project to the grid.
Who should attend?
Establishing electricity grid connections for any renewable energy installation can be easy or difficult. This workshop provides the knowledge to avoid mistakes, unforeseen costs and achieve successful outcomes and is suitable for installers, consultants, developers, designers, and anyone interested in grid connection projects up to 50 kW. The workshop is FREE to Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) based in the Northwest. An eligible SME will have no more than 250 employees and a turnover under €50M.
Delivery and format
The workshop will be delivered by Geoff Owen, a grid connection engineer with over 30 years' experience of working in the grid connection industry, previously based with United Utilities, Scottish Power, Central Networks and Envirolink.
