We hope to see you at the next ‘First Friday’event, which owing to the fact that we’re all a bit keener (and thirstier) to have a good time in 2009, will be an evening affair. And, just to be contrary (not for the first time I’m told), we’re holding the event on a Thursday night. The coolest hotel on the Liverpool block, Malmaison at Princes Dock will be our sponsor on the night for this FREE networking showcase for the property industry and related businesses. Boasting a brasserie that is highly rated by corporate business and not just by Ubiquity’s bellies, the evening will serve tastings from the new Mal menu. As an extra treat, Pavlos, Liverpool’s most knowledgeable sommelier will be educating guests with his ubiquitous knowledge allowing you to refresh the parts you may not have reached this year. There will be some new as well as familiar contacts attending so please, bring a business card, a smile, some hairdresser questions, topical light-hearted conversation, an empty stomach and that thirsty palate. The relaxed proceedings begin at 6.30pm finishing at 9pm-ish. And because some of you struggle to find your way home sometimes, take advantage of this…you can stay at Malmaison on the night for just £75 or £37.50 if there’s two of you in a twinned room, but please hurry if you want to take advantage.
