FBE Manchester: The North West Investment Supply Chain
Date: 23 March 2018 - 23 March 2018, 7:30 - 9:30
Location: Radisson Blu, Manchester
Manchester is setting a new high with 5,203 new residential units coming to market this year and 1.5m sq ft of commercial floorspace in development. As the North West is experiencing this period of buoyancy in construction, how is the investment supply chain benefitting? Manchester is becoming more attractive to both UK and foreign investment but how easy is it to turn that investment into bricks and mortar?
To kick off this breakfast event, Ed Howe from Urbinfo will be giving us an overview on what’s been going on in the Manchester property market in the last few months.
Our speakers will then give insight into their specialist areas of property investment:
1) Simon Mower Director, Capital Advisory at KPMG on developing the investor / contractor relationship
2) Aaron Adams Head of Construction for BCEGI on innovations in the vertical integration of investment with construction and relationship building in the supply chain
3) Tim Newns Chief Executive of MIDAS, an award-winning inward investment agency, will give us an overview of which businesses have relocated to the area and benefited from the investment in the newly created built environment
