Rob Pickering – Assistant Director, Economic Futures
FREE for members, £25.00 for non-members.
The Manchester Branch is delighted to announce that the guest speaker for the March networking breakfast is Rob Pickering – Assistant Director for Economic Futures within the Sustainable Regeneration Directorate in Salford City Council.
Rob will provide an overview of the future development and regeneration plans for Salford City Council.
Rob has had an exciting and varied career having worked in both the public and private sectors. He began his career with the John Lewis Partnership in 1985 and subsequently joined Marks and Spencer as a graduate management trainee (BSc Hons Geography) in 1987 spending 12 years in store management with this national institution.
Having worked in both the public and private sectors, Rob has always been keen to marry the best of the two but passionately believes that you achieve the most when you're not sat behind your desk, whether that be face to face with businesses and the community or out in the field on regeneration schemes.
