Join FBE Manchester for breakfast as it kicks off its programme of events in 2018 with an interview with Joanne Roney.
Joanne has been the chief executive of Manchester City Council since April 2017. Joanne will share her vision for continuing the growth pattern of this great city and what she sees as the key challenges and opportunities during the next few years.
Joanne was previously chief executive of Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council, where she held the top post since 2008 and delivered major regeneration initiatives such as the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield and Parkhill Housing in Sheffield.
Amongst her many interests and associations, Joanne is a Trustee of the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, established in the wake of the Manchester Arena attack, to provide financial support to victims and families affected.
Joanne was awarded the OBE for services to local government in 2009.
