Come and join fbe Manchester for breakfast as our very own Adam Posner (KPMG) interviews Joanne Roney at the first of our programme of events for Manchester in 2020.

Joanne has been the chief executive of Manchester City Council since April 2017. Joanne will share her vision for the continuing growth of our great city and what she sees as the key challenges and opportunities over the coming years.

Joanne was previously chief executive of Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council, where she held the top post since 2008 and delivered major regeneration initiatives such as the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield and Parkhill Housing in Sheffield.

Amongst her many interests and associations, Joanne is a Trustee of the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, established in the wake of the Manchester Arena attack, to provide financial support to victims and families affected.

Joanne was awarded the OBE for services to local government in 2009.
