FBE Liverpool networking breakfast – Retail Talk

The FBE Liverpool branch is hosting its Retail Talk networking breakfast on Thursday 7 May

This month's guest speaker is Chris Bliss, Estates Director at Liverpool One

Chris is a highly capable and motivated leader with extensive experience in running multi-million pound businesses to achieve significant commercial success. This includes profit and loss accountability for the operation and property management of several leading multi-million pound assets.

Chris has worked primarily within the retail and leisure sectors for the last 20 years, in the investment, development and ongoing management phases of an asset's life cycle. Since 1988 he has worked for Grosvenor, first on Festival Place, Basingstoke and then on Liverpool ONE.

In this role, Chris has full responsibility for property management services delivery across Liverpool ONE. This includes the requirement to maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and customer service.

In the last five years, Liverpool ONE has gone from strength-to-strength. The secondary catchment has grown by 27% since 2010, sales were up by 5% in 2012, and the 100,000,000th visitor was welcomed in August last year. Furthermore, 98% of all visitors surveyed recently plan to return to Liverpool.
