NORTH WEST CONSTRUCTION HUB TO LEAD ENGINEERING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (CONSTRUCTION) FRAMEWORK
The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), North West Improvement and Efficiency Programme (NWIEP) and the Centre for Construction Innovation (CCI) have today released an OJEU notice for the procurement of Engineering and Professional Services (Construction) framework. This framework will be led, procured and managed by the North West Construction Hub (NWCH).
The framework allows design and engineering consultant services to be procured efficiently. The NWCH already has a number of existing construction frameworks in place for use by public sector organisations. The addition of the Engineering and Professional Services (Construction) framework will add to its built environment framework portfolio, which is in use on projects across the North West.
OPEN DAY – 4th October 2010
VENUE – CUBE Gallery, 113-115 Portland Street, Manchester, M1 6DW
In order to inform potential bidders with regards to the procurement process and ongoing management of this framework, an OPEN DAY will be held at CUBE Gallery in Manchester.
There will be two identical sessions at the following times: 1pm and 3pm and will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes each. It will be necessary for all porential bidders to book a place at either session in advance.

Please be aware that places are limited to 200 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis (with a maximum limit of two delegates per company).
Please also note that this procurement process will be utilising 'The Chest' (the North West's Local Authority Procurement Portal) www.thechest.nwce.gov.uk and it is strongly advised that you become familiar with this website ahead of the event. This will be crucial when submitting tender documentation and future submissions. The Pre-Qualification questionnaire will be available immediately after the open day event on 'The Chest' website.
All information provided at the OPEN DAY will be contained within the PQQ documentation. Any questions and answers during raised at the open day will be freely available to all bidders via 'The Chest' website.
The OPEN Day will not provide any advantage to those attending or discriminate against those who do not wish to attend.
