The seminar addresses the key business drivers resulting from the Single Equality Act (2010) and new Equality Duty (April, 2011).

Carla White of Wates Living Space and Lisa Worrall from the Centre for Construction Innovation are guest speakers.

CCI said the cumulative impact of the Single Equality Act (2010), Single Equality Duty (2011) and Localism Bill (2010) will mean that organisations will need to become increasingly transparent in how they recruit, train and progress their workforce. Worrall will give a presentation looking at the impact of this on businesses.

White will outline the business case advantage of promoting Equality and Diversity in construction based organisations.
