A free event for all regeneration practitioners as Wirral Waters is claimed to be the largest and most visionary regeneration project in the UK.

Background:

Wirral Waters is one half of Peel Waters; two complimentary and balanced waterside projects on either side of the River Mersey. Wirral Waters aims to transform the derelict docks in Birkenhead into a world class waterfront that is alive with activity, animating the water with both leisure and industrial craft, creating over 20,000 permanent new jobs together with skills and apprenticeships for young people-giving the local community a future on their doorstep. The project is privately funded and led by a Peel.

The IED North West branch added that the event is hosted by Wirral Council.
