Digital Opportunities: Property Tech with Virgin Media Business

This half-day conference, delivered in partnership with Virgin Media Business, will provide property professionals with insight into the growing opportunities provided by recent tech innovations, and how to integrate both hard and soft tech into the built environment.

Discussion will feature analysis of current digital infrastructure and future trends; technology in the workplace, including broadband connectivity and its importance to occupiers; how landlords can futureproof for high-tech tenants; open data and its impact on placemaking.

Sebastian Abigail, senior director of VTS, the New York-based real estate software giant

Tom Redmayne, director of WiredScore, the accreditation scheme for ranking the connectivity of buildings that launched to the Manchester market in 2016

Jason Hawthorne, managing director of Wagstaffs Design, creator of the VUCITY virtual modelling tool in joint venture with rights of light consultant GIA

Anne Dornan, head of innovation at Manchester Science Partnerships, a leading partner in CityVerve, the £10m Internet of Things pilot for the UK government

Brian Brosnan, founder of Propteq, the global property technology summit held annually in London for proptech entrepreneurs to debate the latest trends

Paul Jones, commercial surveyor, Urban Splash, project managing fibre broadband installation in new developments
