The Trust has embarked upon an ambitious programme to Transform Cancer Care across Merseyside and Cheshire. The new Centre is planned to be handed over in February 2020 with construction just started on site; it will provide the Trust’s inpatient accommodation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy for the local population as well as providing more complex cancer treatments for the Merseyside and Cheshire area.
The event will provide much insight about the project under following areas:
- Enhancement of the patient experience
- Wider community service
- Project development process
- Use of BIM and virtual reality technology
