The global economy is changing. Increasingly, technical innovation is disrupting a diverse range of traditionalonal sectors from education to entertainment, fashion to finance, property to PR.

*The UK’s digital tech industries have a combined annual turnover of £161bn and are growing 32% faster than the national economic average. Manchester is leading this unprecedented growth, generating more than 51,000 jobs and establishing itself as one of the country’s top 5 tech clusters.

On Thursday 28th April, CityCo will examine how digital is transforming the Greater Manchester economy, creating new industry roles and changing company cultures. Our expert panel will discuss how businesses can respond to the challenges and opportunities this presents. And consider how topical issues such as regional devolution, Europe and diversity can impact fortunes in a competitive, globalised market place.

Popular tech journalist Martin Bryant will lead our panel of speakers; Claire Braithwaite, Tech Advisor at the Manchester Growth Company, Jon Corner, Chief Executive at The Landing and Coral Grainger of Capital Relations who bring with them a wealth of industry insight and experience covering international trade and investment, education and skills solutions and effective partnership working.
