Architecture Festival 2011 is organised by RIBA North West, the regional office of the RIBA.
Through the festival, RIBA North West aims to demonstrate the importance of architecture and good design and the role it plays in daily life.
The festival runs from 17 – 26 June across the North West and includes building tours, family events, 'architect in the store' days, walking tours and exhibitions.
Highlights include an exhibition of the photography of Eric de Maré, walking tours looking at the role of buildings and public spaces in Liverpool, boat tours exploring Manchester and a discussion about the work of James Stirling in the North.
