This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the world’s first PassivHaus Plus retrofit project under construction.
Kit Knowles of ecospheric will lead you through:
- External tour focused on passive design principles, materials of construction and durability
- Internal tour – review ongoing construction methodologies with an eye to smart detailing
Discussion/questions – review mistakes and learnings record to build a comprehensive list of tips and hints

Timings: Meet at 11.45 for a 12pm start.
PPE: Attendees need to bring their own hi-vis and hard hat. Site boots aren’t necessary.
Travel: There is a tram stop within about 5 minutes walking distance, this is the “Chorlton” stop. The Chorlton bus station is also within about 5 minutes walking distance. There is free on-street parking on both this and surrounding streets, so parking is possible although it can get busy at times.
