A discussion about LEPs in the North West

This is a significant Event for all regeneration practitioners. The Institute of Economic Development NW Branch has organised 4 key LEP representatives from Greater Manchester, Greater Merseyside, Cheshire & Warrington & Cumbria plus the Head of Economic Development at Lancashire County Council (where they are finalising the LEP Partnership) to attend a Discussion Forum. The Event aims to reflect and discuss LEP issues from the sub-regions in the NW.

The four LEP representatives and Lancashire County Council will give a quick overview of their Bids/Partnerships, discuss how they will work together and indeed how they might be able to make a difference compared to previous models. The event will then take comments, views and questions from the floor with the intention that the session is a highly interactive debate offering a good perspective on the future 'local growth' agenda for all that attend. This "open floor debate" will allow those that can shed particular information and guidance about LEP's to share this with the audience.

We look forward to seeing you & your colleagues at this FREE IED Event, which will be followed by the 26th NW Branch AGM.
