Eddisons sale approaches £7m
Eddisons' latest three-day auction raised proceeds of almost £7m, with lots sold including a laboratory and office facility in Chorley and an Openshaw residential development site.
Washington Hall, the laboratory and office facility in Washington Lane in Chorley sold for £414,000 following a guide of £400,000. The building occupies a site of approximately 3.2 acres and is located next to the Washington Hall Fire Service Training Centre.
A tenanted commercial unit producing rent of £13,700 a year in the Burnage area of South Manchester sold for £141,000. It had been offered at a guide price of £110,000 plus on the instructions of the Joint LPA Receivers.
In the Openshaw area of Manchester a residential development site with lapsed planning for 19 apartments achieved £77,000. The guide price was £40,000.
Elsewhere, a vacant bed and breakfast in Blackpool comprising 29 bedrooms sold for £167,000. The former Vidella Hotel on Dickson Road was guided at £100,000. In nearby Bispham a property arranged as two self-contained flats sold for £79,000 off a guide of £60,000.
The three days of auctions took place across Leeds, London and Manchester.
