Drinks ‘flavour house’ signs for Blackpool shed
Simpsons Beverages has expanded its operation, taking more than 32,000 sq ft at Blackpool Retail Park.
Property Alliance Group owns the industrial unit, which it purchased for £1.3m earlier this year. PAG subsequently conducted a £250,000 refurbishment of the property, upgrading its interiors and exteriors.
Constantine Thanopoulos, a development surveyor with PAG, said: “This property was our first acquisition in Blackpool and is in a thriving area forming part of the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone.
“Our investment has significantly improved the warehouse which coupled with the property’s great location provides an ideal space to support Simpsons Beverages and its growth plans.”
Simpsons Beverages describes itself as “a drink manufacturer and flavour house” on its website. The company specialises in creating unique flavours and syrups for alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, milkshake, and slush beverages.
This is the second location for Simpsons, which also occupies a space at Chiswick Grove in Blackpool.
Caleb Simpson, managing director of Simpsons, said that the company was “really excited” about its new location.
“Not only will it enable us to increase our production capacity and efficiency but help us to better serve our customers and provide an improved working environment for our fantastic staff,” he said.
Duxburys Commercial represented PAG on the lease deal, while Corporate Property Solutions advised Simpsons.
It has been a busy month for PAG, which also signed two leases at its Northgate Business Park property in Morecambe earlier this month.
