Downing nears end of Graeme House revamp
Downing is due to complete its phased refurbishment of the 41,500 sq ft Graeme House in Liverpool’s Derby Square next month to deliver a range of office suites under the developer’s Flexi-Office brand.
The 12,500 sq ft final phase of the project across two vacant wings of the building began eight weeks ago.
The space in Graeme House is part of Downing’s expanding Flexi-Office portfolio, which is spread across the city including No.1 Old Hall Street and the grade two-listed Port of Liverpool building.
Current tenants in Graeme House include recruitment companies Reed and Blue Arrow, and national training provider for apprenticeships Aspire Achieve Advance.
John Clegg, head of property management, said: “It’s great to be nearing completion on this refurbishment which will deliver a host of new Flexi-Offices for tenants in the city. Appetite for our Flexi-Office offering has been strong since we first launched the concept in 2012 and we are very pleased to see that demand is continuing to grow and pick up pace in line with the upturn in the economy.”
