Detailed plans in for Mosley Common houses

Town planner Hourigan Connolly has submitted a reserved matters application to Wigan Council for the first phase of residential development at Garrett Hall, to be delivered by Redrow Homes.

Outline planning permission was granted in 2014 for the 60-acre site off Mosley Common Road, which is owned by Peel Land & Property.

Redrow has control of the first phase of development and instructed Hourigan Connolly to submit the application to address all remaining details for a scheme, which would deliver 244 homes.

Beverley Moss, senior planner at Hourigan Connolly, said: “We are in the earliest stages of the application process, but we look forward to working proactively with officers at Wigan Council and alongside Redrow Homes to look towards achieving a positive decision which will result in the delivery of another high-quality scheme by Redrow Homes.”
