Deloitte hires from Harworth

Deloitte Real Estate has announced the appointments of Jo Ford as senior surveyor and Heather Foxen as development surveyor to its Manchester office.

Ford joined Deloitte’s valuation assurance and professional advisory team from Cushman & Wakefield, where she worked for seven years, latterly as senior consultant, to advise universities, developers and investors on major student accommodation projects across the UK.

Foxen has joined the development team at Deloitte Real Estate advising on a range of public and private sector instructions across the UK and Ireland. She joined from Harworth Group where she worked as a development surveyor on projects such as Waverley, Yorkshire’s largest ever brownfield redevelopment, and Logistics North, the 800-acre manufacturing and distribution park in Bolton.

Simon Bedford, partner at Deloitte Real Estate, said: “Jo and Heather’s appointments come at an exciting time for Deloitte Real Estate and the wider property development market. The region continues to demonstrate enormous potential for growth and, following a record year of construction which has laid the groundwork for a strong pipeline of development, this is set to continue into the years ahead.

“Jo and Heather will add tremendous value to our teams as we continue to work with major clients on landmark developments across the North West and beyond.”
