Deal takes Middleton estate to 100% occupied

CEG, represented jointly by Savills and WHR, has let a 45,000 sq ft warehouse at Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton to manufacturer TS.

The deal takes the park, which was 45% void when acquired by clients of CEG in 2012, to fully let.

TS specialises in the production of plastic products for domestic use. The company has agreed a new 10-year lease for a 44,612 sq ft unit known as G2, at a rent of £5.75/sq ft. The facility is in addition to a 108,000 sq ft warehouse the firm has occupied at Stakehill for a number of years.

The estate totals 680,000 sq ft across 46 modern and refurbished warehouses, with occupiers including Yodel, DHL and Scania.

Stuart Murray, industrial director at Savills, commented: “We are pleased that Stakehill Industrial Estate is now fully let following significant investment in refurbishment works over the last few years. The high calibre of occupiers which have chosen the estate is testament to its prime location and the quality of space on offer.”

TS was unrepresented.
