C&W reshuffles leadership team

Cushman & Wakefield has announced changes to the leadership team in the North following the merger with DTZ earlier this year, with former DTZ head John Keyes taking over from Ben Roberts to lead Cushman & Wakefield in Manchester.

Roberts has been given a new role as head of city centre development and PRS.

Leeds-based Tim Cameron-Jones has been named head of the North for Cushman & Wakefield. He previously held the same title at DTZ.

Keith Hardman will be head of Leeds, and Tony Hordon head of Newcastle, both positions that they previously held at DTZ.

The global merger between DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield completed in September, with the combined company operating under the Cushman & Wakefield brand. DTZ employed more than 100 people in Manchester, while Cushman & Wakefield’s presence was much smaller.

There have been some high-profile departures since the deal was agreed, including senior director Ken Bishop, who left after 35 years with DTZ in Manchester to join JLL’s leadership team.

C&W announced last month that there would be 60 redundancies across the country, although these are understood to be mainly occurring in London.

Tim Cameron-Jones, Cushman & Wakefield’s head of the North, said: “I am delighted to be heading up an exceptional team in the North of England where we already have an excellent track record. Keith, John and Tony are proven performers in their markets and I look forward to working with them to drive Cushman & Wakefield forward as the commercial property powerhouse across the North.”
