Cushwake recruits from DTZ

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Laura Thomson as a partner and head of corporate occupier management for the UK within its corporate occupier and investor services team based in Manchester.

Thomson moves to Cushwake from DTZ where she was director of corporate real estate management covering the North West. Prior to DTZ, she worked at Donaldsons and at Inter Ikea before that.

She will be responsible for developing and growing Cushman & Wakefield's national occupier management business across the UK.

The appointment is part of an ongoing strategic recruitment initiative across Cushman & Wakefield in line with the firm's five-year strategic growth plan.

Tony Bones, head of UK property management within CIS for Cushman & Wakefield in the UK, said: "Laura is a true specialist in her field and the depth and experience she will bring to the role will further enhance our position as a leading advisor to Corporate Occupiers in the UK and beyond."
