Cushman poaches from CBRE’s capital markets team
Rob Woods has returned to Cushman & Wakefield as partner 16 years after leaving the firm for CBRE.
Woods left Cushman & Wakefield in 2009 to become an associate director at CBRE. During the last 16 years, he has risen to the role of senior director and advised clients including Abrdn, AVIVA, Firethorn, and Tritax on a variety of commercial property transactions.
As a partner working out of Cushman’s Manchester office, Woods will work within the firm’s capital markets team with a specific focus on retail, logistics and industrial transactions.
He will work alongside fellow partner Rob Taylor, head of retail, logistics, and industrial Jon Leedham, and head of national capital markets Jeremy Beckett, the company said.
“The strong performance of the North West logistics market is attracting top tier institutional money, and Rob’s expertise in that space will have a great impact on both clients and colleagues at Cushman & Wakefield,” Leedham said.
Jeremy Beckett, head of national capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield, added: “Rob’s experience and strong client relationships, combined with our specialist occupational logistics team led by Rob Taylor, with whom he will work closely, creates a powerful proposition in the region. We are delighted to welcome Rob to the team.”
Great appointment.
