Curry Club speaker explores the landscape
Stuart Ryder from Ryder Landscape Consultants will be the speaker at the next Chester Curry Club for property professionals this Thursday 21 June.
The Chester Curry Club is held at the Siam Thai & Teppan-Yaki Restaurant, 32 City Road, Chester at 12.30pm every third Thursday of the month and aims to meet the requirement for busy professionals in the property construction and finance sectors to meet informally. The property sector has had a challenging few years and the group wants to encourage businesses to start working together to grow in 2012 through the sharing of ideas and contacts.
Stuart is a Heritage Lottery Fund assessor, an examiner for the Landscape Institute and has written national landscape design guidelines for the Environment Agency and Defra. He will be discussing the role of a landscape architect and will run a short table quiz.
The new main sponsor for the Chester Curry Club is law firm Hill Dickinson LLP. Bill Chandler, legal director of Hill Dickinson who spoke at the event last month, added: "We're pleased to be sponsoring and involved in the Chester Curry Club. We feel it's a significant organisation which will help encourage the property sector in the region. It is also a great place to network over delicious food and with some really important people. We're looking forward to being a part of this."
The North West has been a strong area of growth for Networking in the City, organiser of the clubs. The expanding network includes 13 curry clubs nationally with plans to open more throughout 2012.
